Wild World Heroes Mask Making Workshop

Wild World Heroes Mask Making Workshop was a free event for 6-11yr olds, that ran on Friday 27th August at Pop In: Pop Up in Royal Victoria Place Shopping Centre (Upper Mall by the Taste Well Café).
This workshop was part of the Summer Reading Challenge. Therefore, we took inspiration for our masks from the Wild World Heroes reading list. The Kent Summer Reading Challenge list here: https://bit.ly/Summer_Reading_Challenge_List.
Our young artists thought long and hard about who their Wild World Heroes are and how our earth wouldn’t be the same without the support of natures creatures. We had wasps, Flowers, Pollinator insects like butterflies and even a unicorn or two. There was even a discussion on Wild World villains.
Our participants designed and made a mask of their Wild World Hero, and even had their designs face painted onto their faces by our professional face painter.
